Connect, Collaborate, and Contribute

The Global Forum on Strategic Transformations, Leadership and Learning is an experience sharing community that brings together executives from major global organizations and thought leaders from different parts of the world to discuss development, challenge perspectives, and initiate meaningful action. It is a not-for-profit annual meeting, that was established 1996.

Attendance is by invitation only, limited to 100 participants, and sessions span 3 days in an informal, interactive format. All costs for travel, accommodation, and meetings are covered by participants, including speakers. To ensure confidentiality and transparency, no media is permitted at the event.

Bring an open mind and engage in a dynamic mix of keynotes, panels, round table discussions, fireside chats, learning explorations, visits, reflections, beautiful questions, dinner conversations, cultural experiences, and much more.

Do not miss the History tour on the arrival day, June 22, and the reception in the evening with personal sharing about Boston and the US.

If you are interested to become a member of our ‘Community of Practice’ please contact the organizing team.

History

The idea for the Global Forum originated in 1995 when Yury Boshyk met with Herwe de Schepper (IBM), Stephen Mercer (General Electric) and Ron Bossert (Johnson & Johnson) to discuss best practices and common dilemmas associated with business driven action learning executive programs. Very soon afterwards several companies voiced their desire to share experiences with their peers in a similar way. Thus, in June of 1996, the first annual Global Forum took place in southern France. From 2000, the Global Forum convenes its annual meeting in different parts of the world (sometimes hosted or supported by a major company or group of organizations). It is organized by Global Executive Learning and Global Forum community members.

Since 1996 the Global Forum has taken place in many different locations.
