Founders and Global Leaders of "Business Driven Action Learning" (BDAL)
"Business Driven Action Learning has significantly enhanced Johnson & Johnson's leadership development and has assisted us in improving our business by exploring new and exciting business opportunities." William C. Weldon, Johnson & Johnson (former Chairman and CEO)
Global Executive Learning (GEL) is the global leader in results-focused Action Learning with its international practice, research and publications in the field.
GEL also introduced and developed the term Business Driven Action Learning (BDAL) to emphasize its approach to Action Learning. It focuses on achieving practical and transformational results for the organization and the individual executive by integrating business and organizational objectives with personal leadership and team development - particularly at senior levels and with emerging talent - faster and greater than the rate of change.
BDAL is highly tailored both for organizations and individual leaders. It can also be considered as a form of Blended Learning, integrating approaches and methods best suited to the particular situation and strategic purpose.
The Annual Global Forum
"Thank you for inviting me to participate in this year's Global Forum. I found it both stimulating and interesting. The group was remarkably open and welcoming." (Board member)
The ANNUAL GLOBAL FORUM ON STRATEGIC TRANSFORMATION, LEADERSHIP, AND LEARNING (formerly known as the Global Forum on Executive Development and Business Driven Action Learning) is an international community of practice. Since 1996, GEL has organized 24 annual meetings of practitioners, subject-matter experts and executives from major companies and public institutions.
Attendance at The Gobal Forum is by-invitation-only, and the Global Forum is not-for-profit.
No more than 100 participants, and no media to ensure sharing and open discussion.
Global Forum venues change from year-to-year to allow for more global learning. In 2018 the Global Forum took place in Bangalore, India and in 2017 in Warsaw, Poland.
To get a flavour of a Global Forum please see a short video about the Stockholm Forum (2016) at our YouTube-Channel.
The 25th Global Forum will be held in Boston/Cambridge, (MIT campus) USA from 15 - 17 June, 2020.
